Stacey returned to Owen Sound and joined The Alliance in 2017 after articling at the Toronto office of a leading international business law firm. She was called to the Ontario bar in 2017.
Stacey received a Bachelor of Science with Honors in Chemistry in 2012, and a Juris Doctor in 2016, both from the University of Western Ontario. While completing her undergraduate degree, Stacey was an infantry reservist with the 4th Battalion, The Royal Canadian Regiment. She took time off from her studies to train and deploy to Afghanistan, completing a seven month tour of duty in 2010. Stacey was highly involved with access to justice and human rights issues during law school, and was the recipient of a number of oral advocacy awards.
Stacey maintains a broad practice with a focus on civil litigation. She is an active member of the community and sits on national and provincial law association executives. While not practicing law, she enjoys flying small planes, having obtained her private pilot's licence with the local flight school. Stacey is also an avid outdoorswoman and loves to go hunting and kayaking.
