ELIZABETH BAREFOOT

Elizabeth joined the firm in the summer of 2007 as an Articling Student. She moved to Owen Sound from British Columbia where she spent her last year of law school at the University of Victoria as a visiting student. Elizabeth graduated with her LL.B. from the University of Manitoba in the spring of 2007. She also attended Queen's University where she obtained her B.A.(Hons.) in 2002. She was called to the Ontario bar in June 2008 and became an associate of the firm.

Elizabeth focuses primarily on criminal law, but does practice some family law and civil litigation.

She is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, the Criminal Lawyers' Association, the Grey County Bar Association, and the Grey County Criminal Lawyers' Association.

Elizabeth is pleased to be a member of the Board of Directors for two local organizations that make significant contributions to the community: Victim Services of Bruce Grey & Owen Sound Inc. and Melody Acres – Partners in Process Equine Learning Centre.
