Elizabeth is the newest addition to the firm and joined us in the summer of 2007 as an Articling Student. She moved to Owen Sound from British Columbia where she spent her last year of law school at the University of Victoria as a visiting student. Elizabeth graduated with her LL.B. from the University of Manitoba in the spring of 2007. She also attended Queen's University where she obtained her B.A.(Hons.) in 2002. She expects to complete her articles and be called to the Ontario bar in June 2008.
Elizabeth is currently assisting all lawyers in the firm but focuses primarily on civil litigation and criminal law. She is a member of the Canadian Bar Association and the Law Society of Upper Canada.
Elizabeth has a varied history of volunteering in the community and is looking forward to getting involved locally now that she is settled in Owen Sound.
Her interests include hiking with her husband, swimming, squash, kickboxing, snow shoeing, skiing and snowboarding.
